What is Supercord?
Supercord is a bot for Discord. It will automatically open a conversation with any new member that joins your server and ask for their email (with your customized message).Once the email is verified, it will be registered in a private channel. On paid plans, it can also integrate with Zapier or Make to start an automation.
How is this useful?
Discord doesn't allow you to know your members' emails. So you can't have gated communities (where members pay to access). Also, you can't communicate with your members outside Discord.But thanks to Supercord, once you have the email linked with a specific user ID, then you can do things like:
Check if the email links to a paying member in your subscription so you give them access to specific channels or the whole server (yes, you now can have a gated community!).
Subscribe them to your newsletter to keep members engaged.
Send a series of onboarding emails to make sure they feel welcomed and know you and your business.
Feel your community is not as active as before? Launch a re-engagement campaign by email to show them what's new.

What else do I need?
It depends on what you want to do. If you want to get the full potential you'll want to use Make (free available) or Zapier to automate the tasks.Then you could keep track of your members in Google Sheets (free) or Airtable (free available). And send email campaigns via an email marketing platform like Mailchimp (free available) or MailerLite (free available)Don't worry.
